Yeah that expectation will rightly be there however the transfer came about.

I can’t help but think you are veering away from the question

I am not talking about who is the better human being

    I don’t think that’s in question
I also don’t think that the list you are forming on Suarez is particularly fair in your appraisal but

the question I was debating was who is the better player basically

my argument that is if you remove the behaviours
At their peak/prime - I believe there is a very good case that Suarez is the better player

but as I said both are amazing
For me - if I am honest to myself - I think Suarez edges it

    that’s all I was saying

    125mil says so.

    Its like this.

Anchelotti nailed richarilson to the wall in a public interview before leaving Everton for better things.

If he is as good as he thinks he is.....

    He will score 30 goals.

    Obviously richarilson didn't.

So for isak my expectation is if he is any sort of serious man will have done masses of training himself to be as close to a level where he can work from as possible.

If he went to sociadad I would expect he did so to get a preseason level in.

Nothing replaces games but I would expect he shows something for Sweden this week and comes back and gets minutes for 2 or 3 gsmes (10 to 15) and then is launched.

He's got what he wanted now so I fully expect proper behaviour at all times and working "for the team"

There's more important things to all team then who is the better player.

BTW salah is the better player.

    Faster by far.
    Stronger by far.
    Takes a better pen.
Isn't missing half the time due to misbehaviour.
Scored bags of goals and plenty of genius goals.

Suarez had one good season after 2 half seasons disrupted by despicable behaviour and he's a God apparently.

Salah is up to 8 great seasons? Now I'm not actually a fan of his massive big head but he's still worked like a dog for it.

You know, it's quite possible to be in awe of the talent and still recognise the flaws of the man.

Yeah I think I may not have articulated myself as the chat seems bogged down in an area I wasn’t trying to be involved in
    Sorry MITO

I think you are 100% right about more to a team - I was just trying to look at Suarez objectively - he is far from a God in my book but

exactly what Saint has articulated above as a player I feel he edges Mo

    tremendously exciting to watch

personally I prefer a James Milner to both of them but that is my preference

however I would never suggest that Milner was a better player than Suarez or Mo

    does that make sense
I think it’s one of those that I know what I mean but can’t explain it right <laugh>

VVD refused to play for Saints until the summer window closed. He then had to put his tail between his legs and begrudgingly played for Saints until the winter window and we had to pay an extra £5-10m for "tapping him up"

1,000% is take Luis Suarez. It's not even debatable in my eyes. LS would have obliterated the record Mo is breaking

The fee in summer was 75 the fee in winter was 75.

As for refusing to play that was never "said"

Both he and coutinho had mysterious injuries.

So even southmapton didn't accuse him.of refusing to play.

So vvd. Did he use up his one chance then?

Nope. Impeccable behaviour for going on 10 years. Isak better ****ing well done the same

    Or

    "He can do one"

    Yeah but no.

Didn't do that at barca. He had some good years and one great year at barca for goals with prime.messi and a.dominant position.

Salah in that scenario would score more.

    Suarez = nasty ****.

I'm going to stick up for mito here because of all the times he is miserable, I don't see this as one. He's reacting to incredibly bad behaviour by one of our ex-players.

And Salah all day long for me. <ok> Any player who jeopardises the team with his poor behaviour will never be ahead of one who doesn't no matter how talented. Suarez' ban cost us the title in 2014.
And for the record I don't believe that Suarez said anything racist. I backed him on that one.

In hindsight he did but we also know Mr evra is the first one to take advantage.

Same as how terry "got away with it"

Isak isn't an ex player which is the part of Mito's post @mighty_stevie_g was replying to .

I don't think he did. Without rehashing it all, the word he used is commonplace where he comes from and not racist at all. I think Evra had previous as well.

I didn't read it that way. He quoted the whole post and made two separate points. Anyway, I stand by my comment. :p
