Sandbach seems to be your M6 go to. My recommendation for that section would be Stafford, but not sure where you join up with the M6. Knutsford is better than Sandbach.

Gloucester services is superb, it's pretty much a farmers market of a place. Costs the same as well, stupid prices. For having pretty much every food outlet known to man, Cobham on M25 is stand alone. Worst services ever anywhere is Bridgwater on the M5.
I have called at the Gloucester one, they have sourdough bread in woven baskets on display…. had a bloke mopping near my feet while au took a piss at Scotch Corner services yesterday…..not even sure if he was staff.
