I think the country is basically unrecoverable in its current guise, any semblance of unity is gone at this point, we need the most radical option available and Farage will not be enough. That's my prediction.

 

But it’s human nature to want to better yourself. Surely you would agree with that. Socialism works well in theory but never in practice. In my younger days I was as Labour as they come, but the older I’ve got I just can’t see it working. I’ve said it before on here but would you want to live in a country like Cuba or China or Venezuela where they have socialist governments?
Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree and you’re not in favour of Socialism as a concept?
We can all help others if we choose to but being forced to under the guise of leftist ideology where no one gets to better themselves is a recipe for unrest. And looking at all the socialist governments around the world, those in power tend to enrich themselves at the expense of those they should be serving. Human nature again.

 

I kind of agree. We need huge change. I’d just like it not be further in the direction of tax dodging inhuman corporations who value their cash in the bank ahead of all things. I’d for the other way- the complex thing is I do t like the Corbyn option either because I don’t first him and his cult. It’s way I land increasingly in the Green space.

 

To be honest I’m not a purist type. There are just things I think are wrong and right. I’m comfortable on some things being delivered away from the state for example - I quite like social enterprise in the public space done well, I don’t think things should nail huge private and person profit out of things like water or health prevention. I don’t understand why anyone would want their neighbours to struggle. Just pas a bit on and help people smile a bit, suffer less. Everyone can’t be the same but we can have less struggle. That’s may main philosophy. Why can people get rich without lifting a finger and others be poor while grafting their knackers off. It just needs balance. Is that socialism ? Maybe, but I see it as human.

This, balaclavas at hotels, I was sent a video of a kid in Epping who was interviewed and said the protestors were more damaging for Epping than the hotel residents get attacked. It’s triggering mob rule and Reform are nudging it along. Why don’t people see or maybe care what’s happening?

 

My view on Rayner by the way. Inevitable there’s been some manoeuvring. It’s not unusual in a house move but rightly she’s come out and said what’s gone on. I’m not a fan of Starmer, less so McSweeney the person pulling the strings and I think the economic policy needs to grow some knackers. I do think Rayner is exactly what we need in politics though. Someone who’s had experience of normal life and not just trained to be an MP through family history and a university. I hope she stays for that reason alone. Better than an Eton boy pretending to be one of the lads because he goes to a pub then dressing up with the elite hunting lot day 2.
