It’s nine years since Ellewoods stopped posting, though I seem to remember someone saying they’d spoken to him away from the site and he was alive and well.
He stopped posting after Trump got elected the first time. He was insistent that he couldn't win due to the electoral college system and when that turned out to be wrong it seemed like he disappeared immediately. He was alright I thought. TigerRoo was in his 80s back when he posted on here wasn't he? Surprised to hear he's still kicking about on other forums.
The Stuart Blampey we are referring to was someone using that name on here not the x player. Used to post on City Independent under the name E G D Wright.
Apologies, my mistake. EGD was a font of City knowledge on CI and a good poster on football and the history of the club and city.
Was it not him who got hit really hard with the hurricane, he had some farming land that was incredibly badly damaged after Hurricane Harvey, I think he posted shortly after and then stopped.
Good to hear that. I seem to recall he was from Northern California, wife/girlfriend was a lawyer and he was pretty good on the Prediction Threads of old. I believe there were forest or scrub fires aplenty near his farm at one stage around the time he stopped posting on here ?

Thought it was the fires that hit the area north of Sacramento area in California. Harvey impacted Houston in Texas.
Ah yeah I think you're right, there are a couple of users from Texas and I seem to remember somebody being harmed by the hurricane. Really hope Ellewoods is ok, he's a good guy.
