By the way, Mou fired by Fenerbahce, Acun got his revenge. Just wanted to say something good about Acun once.
 
Palace looking really impressive. Not a huge fan of back threes/fives out of possession as it sacrifices an extra player in midfield or in the forward line to press in favour of an extra centre-back but Palace make it work.

If Ajayi and Famewo weren’t crocked, I reckon it would suit City under Jakirović too.

Apparently, they’ve ran into PSR issues. Their wage bill-to-revenue ratio is the highest in the league. They had to sell Ramsey to balance the books and now Martínez wants to leave. No wonder they dobbed us in. They’re in a tough situation themselves and can’t afford to bankroll dodgy Championship owners.

That was the whole reason initially we were going to be able to get Barry permanently, but thought they sorted it.

We might’ve got away with it if Acun wasn’t such a cheeky **** and tried to delay the loan fee and wage payments for Barry even further to mid-July whilst negotiating to sign him permanently in June lmao.

‘Yes, mate, I know I already owe you and I’m months behind but can you give me a few more weeks to settle it? Oh, and can we have the player back permanently as well?’

Wasn't there one other dimension to this story that Villa owe us monies for Philogene, and they were trying to offset one with the other?
