Agreed, I think that’s the difference, it’s not that he can’t afford it, he just doesn’t want to dip into his other pot and have to start liquidating. This was his hobby money and it’s coming to an end. It definitely won’t ruin him or his empire.
It also explains why he has no problem dropping millions on transfer fees and wages but won’t pay small businesses relatively small amounts of money that are over a year overdue. He thinks it’s beneath him.
