    It seems we have transferred Mendys brother in so we have other/better options for central defence

    Yes they cannot complain we didn’t make an effort and not try to improve the squad.

    Let’s see how these guys do over a season but promising sings so far in terms of the new signings coming in and having a positive impact .

    Best transfer window I can remember.
    I've heard rumour of Freddie Potts coming in on loan from West Ham, but I think that's spurious.

    I suspect that they had PP in their sights for a while and consequently didn't back TC as much as they might. There was that horrible PR disaster as well, perhaps manufactured to unsettle things.
    Either way I am not at all unhappy, thus far, with the outcome.

    Tom wanted Jebbison and Sissoko and a small squad so they probably didn’t make as much effort to get players in .
