You should go on a cruise! The way it generally works is you buy drinks with your cruise card which is linked to your debit/credit card. You're not charged at the time, you get charged a couple of weeks after the cruise ends, but it's quick and so I can understand people paying more than they mean to if they aren't keeping an eye on their spending. I've never set up paying it automatically each day, but that does sound sensible..
If you go on a TUI cruise, it’s all inclusive for all, so alcohol, soft drinks , coffee, tea etc all included. But it’s extra if you want premium coffee or premium brandy/whiskey etc. It’s a no brainer for us, premium coffee costs as much as beer nowadays.
Never been on a TUI cruise. What are they like? I don't trust a cruise line which is a subsidiary of a general travel agent. Also all inclusive alcohol on a ship doesn't seem like a great idea.
We have booked our first one round the Mediterranean next year on friends knowledge and advice. All inclusive alcohol will be no different than any all inclusive hotels around the world. Drink responsibly, like you would anywhere (we are of an age ) and shouldn’t be any problems.
