Guess we could not compete with them as a newly promoted club, another reason it is important for us and Sunderland to buck the trend

Survive this season and that could be the type of player we attract next

Lucas Perri made more inaccurate passes (27) against Newcastle than any other player in a single game in the Premier League this season.

He needed to go long and over Newcastles press.

His passing isn't great but thats the reason and im sure we will see that plenty of times this season

Would rather that than him fannying about with it at the back like he did against arsenal, inviting pressure in our own box

Can see the Bakwa in, Wilson out logic for Fulham. Welsh connection for us etc.

Seems like it’s buendia or Wilson. We’re going down fast than a cheap lady of the night. Doomed I tell ya.

That said, We know how this pans out… names will crop up during the day… we’ll have fake sightings at airports/training grounds, pensively wait for white smoke from elland road at 6.59 and then sign Bo Diddly after getting gazumped at 6.58.

in case you were wondering diddly plays right wing for Dudley.

I don't feel Harry Wilson is a bad one to get if I am being honest, he is a bit like Longstaff, lots of PL experience and safe. Longstaff was the 'safe' stand out player on Saturday and the way James form is at the moment...

James signed up, Buendia or Solomon loan option to buy and it's not a bad deadline day

And he’s not too shabby at left footed free kicks.

Well, better than Gruev at least.

Fooking joke reporting as all 4 targets reject Leeds with Solomon staying at Spurs.

Leeds United’s four main deadline day transfer targets are revealed
Going into deadline day, it was reported that four players are active targets for Leeds United; they are Bilal El Khannouss, Dilane Bakwa, Eduard Spertsyan, and Manor Solomon. However, El Khannouss is now looking likely to join Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, whilst Fulham have been in talks to sign Bakwafrom Strasbourg, with the player having announced that he’s leaving the club.

He fits the profile, 28, experienced. Not very exciting.

I’m worried about his injury record. Not sure it’s bad enough. Only a broken foot since knee problems in 22/23. Would feel better if he he’d had regular soft tissue problems and a history of nasty toothache.

I don't see us having a hope of staying up with what we have and I don't see anyone else (maybe another yesterdays man?) coming in.

    Shambles.

Farke has been set up to fail. He's been publicly asking for a 10 for 3 windows now and not got one.

Leeds United and Hull City are hopeful of finalising a permanent transfer for Darko Gyabi today. The 21-year-old has less than one year remaining on his contract and last played for the club in August 2023.

Daniel Farke used the former Manchester City midfielder in the opening weeks of his tenure at the start of 2023-24, but he failed to impress and was eventually loaned out to Plymouth Argyle. Injury limited his impact during that first campaign, but he returned last season and impressed at Home Park.

Illan Meslier is another Leeds player who could exit before the window closes tonight. The former Leeds No 1 has fallen to fourth choice in the pecking order and has not even travelled with the squad to matches this season.

As for incomings, Leeds would like to add one final reinforcement to their ranks before the 7pm deadline, but have offered no guarantees this will happen.
