Palace picked off Villa on the break to go 2-0 up and they just got a third from a long throw. Villa in trouble. Villa, as daft as it sounds, played better with Buendia than without him even though they conceded twice with him on the pitch. Thems the breaks sometimes.
On Uche. As milky says. Huge gamble. Looks an athlete but totally untested at a really good level. One of those that could go on and be good but more often than not fall away. Not been totally convinced in the limited bits I've seen of him. One to watch rather than one to hang your hat on at this stage. Makes sense for Palace to have a gamble on him though. Free hit for them.

We can’t afford them unless they’re a bonus ball where we have plenty of options. We don’t have the finances or squad places for them right now. We all get excited by young prospects. I’d have liked BEK, I’d like bakwa as he passes the eye test. But for where we are, we’re better having players who are proven good than potentially great. … and with a patchy injury record of course
Well at least if we do make a move for him he is near match fit, on the other hand why would they risk him tonight when he’d be having a medical tomorrow it doesn’t sound like we’re in negotiations
