Yeah at 4 down I felt we could have bowled a few more Milnes overs to try kill them off, and that missed catch v costly. Was a decent pitch tho and 300 was par.Think the DLS worked against us, we'd cruised a few games this season accumulating sensibly chasing 300, the revised target, which was still v achievable, suddenly gave us more of a T20 innings than one day innings and I don't think mentally we coped with chasing 8 an over off 14 rather than 6.5 off 25
England ****ting the bed in a format that NONE of their players have played in months, choosing instead to dick around in a format that isn't played anywhere else in the world, dressed as crisp packets whilst commentators coo and marvel at shots that have been played consistently by players of all ages for over 10 years
Who'd have thought picking someone off the back of the ****ty 100 to play a different format would blow up in England's face eh? Time used to be that you'd have to prove yourself for your county to earn a cap, now they hand them out like confetti at a wedding
my thoughts exactly, find it pretty annoying that they're all having a great time in the field dicking around but bottom line is they've lost the series! Came in totally undercooked and under prepared, like pretty much every series we play in every format.
