Our match day threads are some of the best on the site and everyone knows it. Its pure entertainment and thats just one of the perks of using this site The Leeds lads also have proper funny match day threads too, theyre a laugh.
I don't see any lack of team spirit or fight, Liverpool performance was awesome, they looked fearless. Yesterday could have been better, but wasn't terrible, after the break we'll see the real thing with the full team.
I didn't see enough desire Yesterday mind, which can happen with this lot. They don't get up for these games and that's why we'll never be up there with the best. It's not just a Newcastle thing, but clubs do raise their game vs the big 6.. Probably auditioning or it just gives them a little extra. I personally think Newcastle were absolutely dreadful Yesterday and I think the worst since I think Palace where they went the entire game without a shot.... It does happen.
Like not winning vs the **** sides is something Howe seems to have an issue with.. We lost twice to Luton for example.. It's a common thing I'm sure
Our issue is breaking down teams to create clear goalscoring opportunities, when you have a 50/50 match, you can dispossess the opposition and go on a counter attack. When you're up against Leeds who enjoy sitting back and absorbing pressure, its on Newcastle to do something special, we just don't have the flair especially away from home. When we can't think of anything to do our game devolves into long ball football which is just utterly ****.
I seem to think that we never start seasons particularly well. Not sure why, as such, but we don't seem to get the best XI on the pitch until GW6. Osula is poor. Barnes is worse. Trippier is past it. The 5-4-1 is not conducive to free scoring football but we went to Leeds and are unbeaten on the road, we will get better. Once Hall is in, when we have a proper striker back in, when Gordon returns, with Joelinton back and finally get Pope out we'll push hard this season and be a threat. City have already lost twice, Spurs went all Spursy yesterday, Man U are still miles off it. Arsenal, Liverpool and arguably Chelsea will likely make up the first three, but is there really anyone markedly better than us for fourth? If we add one or two more tomorrow - or somehow reintegrate Isak - we should be good and I think we'll be more of a surprise in the UCL.
So all transfer business completed then. Ramsdale > Dubz Thiaw > Kelly Ramsey > Longstaff Elanga > Miggy Woltemade > Wilson Seung-Soo > Kuol Loaned out Targett & Vlach to reduce wage bill. Cracking transfer window.
Voices in your head again? That’s what the medication is for. Just take the medication. Then the voices will go.
Not sure on a few of those mate but possibly right yeah. That would be ideal at this point. I don't see Isak being sold now of any benefit whatsoever. They can't get in any reinforcements.
So which ones aren't upgrades on the related outgoings? EDIT: You edited in those last 4 words while I was replying.
Possibly the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th While you're probably correct it still needs to be demonstrated, that's all.
Flight radar shows plane heading towards Newcastle Airport from Milan Airport ... and if you take this post seriously then yer as daft as me.. mind you there really is one heading this way tho. A Dassault Falcon Jet STOP YER CNUT YA.... its heading for Glasgae I think
What a load old guff. You can say that about literally any signing then. Your WUM attempts are reaching clutching at straw desperation levels mate. But no doubt dome will still buy it.
I remember Kenny Wharton taking the piss by sitting on the ball when winning 4-0 against them ( I think it was 4) Steve Foster of Luton chased him all over going to chin him
