I have no faith in selecting people based on their academic qualifications. There are people who are naturally good at things and will prosper with the right guidance. Then there are those who tick all the boxes but are ****ing useless. I know from experience and it is frightening how some people get selected. It also exposes those involved in the selection process. Recipe for disaster. Thank God I worked for a company that didn't operate that way; and a very prosperous company that was. I'll stop there as I could go on for ages

So, to sum up

 

I can't make any sense of one of those signings
Luton offered £7M for Kone and it was rejected. Then we sell him for nowhere near that to QPR

We should have either sold him for £7m when we had the chance, or extended his contract for minimum 3 years and hopefully upped his value

Instead we bring in a 30 yearl old striker from Luton who is clearly surplus to their requirements
