Given it's a dead rubber, more likely that other players are being given a game.

Yeah, I get Albert being given a go in a dead rubber. But there are far more obvious candidates to leave out than Cartwright.

I can't be bothered to check the stats. But that must end up being Vince's worst ever white ball competition? I can't ever recall him doing so badly, whether for Hants or anyone else.

Obviously it's come one game too late to matter, but it is great watching the old Roy back.

At least we're not doing as bad as Gloucs. (I see that my second favourite Somerset bowler has been taking wickets again.)

I did wonder how Gloucs might cope. Six consecutive wins to start with, but then finished the group stage with consecutive defeats. Momentum lost.

And now my favourite Somerset bowler is in the wickets again.

Good way to finish.

I've only we hadn't messed it up at Lords a few days ago. Or Mills hadn't been hit for the last ball 6 vs NSC.

I reckon Fuller will be available on Sunday if NSC lose on Saturday. But if they win on Saturday, then I suspect he won't be available because they will want to take him to Lords on Sunday just in case they need to pick him in an emergency.

If he isn't available, then Albert comes in for him and we go down to five bowlers. If he is available, then I would probably leave out Brown in order to accommodate Albert.

If Baker and/or Currie are available, I would play them ahead of Jack/Wheal.

My guess is that Wood, Howell and Vince won't be considered. Wood hasn't played a 50 over match since the 2019 final. And Vince and Howell haven't played the format for a while either.

Largely as expected. Currie and Albert named in the squad, whilst Fuller's availability is subject to whether NSC win or lost tonight.

Yorkshire have decided to stick with the same players who got them through the group stage.

I'm not sure about that XI.

Albert should be starting. And if we want to play six bowlers without Fuller, then surely Organ should be one of them? Currie carded at no.7 is far too high.
