    Yes, possibly.

But the time is to support a manager, not drive them all out out he door and then question/be outraged when the next one through the door isn't Harry ****ing Potter. Amorim/Ineos is in the middle or a process that pretty much everyone accepted was needed.

The most laughable thing is, Jose and Ole are both being proposed as replacements and both of them were also driven out by these so called fans.

Got a strange feeling we'll go for Connor Gallagher tomorrow.

I did think to at the time when Atleti put him on the market, but didn't they show an interest in Antony last season? Could be a deal there.

We also need a keeper. Onana need to leave quietly and Bayindir clearly still no better than back up.

Would prefer Donnarumma, I think the situation would be too much for Lemmens to be thrown into.

But I would prefer Lemmens to either of our first two choices.

Bruno didn't look like a bloke about to leave us today either.

Sounds like Martinez, which is absolutely fine.

I wonder if anyone will take Onana off our hands? Happy to drive him to the airport.

personally think Martinez has declined a lot in last 18 months and is pretty dodgy these days .

so obviously i hope you get him and i'm proved right though obviously will be better than your present options

Chief, you are rarely honest with yourself in these assessments.

For the record, the reference to Jose was not to suggest to bring him back. But to point out how far along we have fallen when it comes to expected standards at the club.

We have spent, and we continue to spend, but the results remain highly questionable. Critically, the spirit of the manager appears broken to say the least. What the manager needs more than anything are results to justify and validate his own ideas. Not some superficial sound bites of support which is a good as thoughts and prayers.

We were after, and had agreed, Lemmens from Antwerp.

Look, I don't know him and have never seen him play, but I'm sure he's been scouted and is a very good prospect.

What I do know though is, he's 23 years old and has only ever played in Belgium.
So this is not the best time for him to join us.

If we get Martinez now, get rid of Onana immediately and also eventually Bayindir, Lemmens can come as initially an understudy next summer.

Martinez in the meantime gives us experience. He was erratic in the last game of the season v us, but he's not in the same galaxy ****e wise as Onana.

oh agreed he is better than Onana but he is nowhere at the level he was a few years ago but needs must and all that .
The replacement for Onana should have been very close to top of your list rather than a scramble right at end of the window .
