Individual mistakes have cost us, good going forward, Joseph scores at last, but defensively poor not helped much by the midfield. We need a defensively minded midfielder urgently. You can’t give room to any teams in the championship like we have today to win football matches.
This Amir Hadziahmetovic fella's meant to be one of those isn't he?

Slater is ****e and will be ****e so long as I’ve got a hole in my arse but Syd does have a point because Lundstram, despite his obvious qualities, looked like a 38-year-old plumber playing Sunday League today. Lundstram isn’t disciplined enough off the ball. He likes to press and get forward which means he’s usually chasing back when we lose possession instead of being the shield in front of the back four. He’s not quick or mobile enough to run back and provide cover when we’re hit on the counter so we’re constantly defending 4v4 or 3v3.

We need a defensive midfielder who just stays back instead of wandering off whenever he fancies it. Hopefully, that’s Hadžiahmetović. You just can’t play two number 8s and a number 10 because you will get ripped to pieces like we did today and against Blackburn. It gives players like Cantwell, Twine, Mehmeti etc. **** loads of space to receive the ball and turn and once they’re dribbling at the defence, you’re bollocksed.

I'll put that one down to the manager and coaching staff. Strange the amount of space between the lines. The new CM should help things but feel we need to bring in two really.

Pleased for Joseph and great to see that Belloumi will have no problem quality wise after his injury.

The better team won but, going forward we could easily have scored 4/5 goals ourselves - until we start defending as a team and stop the easy crosses into the box and track runners we're going to keep conceding a ****load, we could have scored 4/5 but tbh, Bristol could have hit double numbers! Coach needs to sort something out during this international break.

PS Pleased as **** for young Joseph, he's worked his arse off this season and got his rewatd today. Next!!

We had more shots on target. Their goalie made a couple of excellent saves.

Not bothered about the result, didn’t expect to come away with anything. Didn’t see the 2nd half really only a couple of minutes at the start.

But the manner some of those goals went in, the sheer amount of space we were allowing them and the seeming absolute lack of defensive organisation is very worrying.

The last thing we need is another quick fire sacking but it’s already not looking good. I seriously hope things improve, this guy really seemed like the real deal.

If we have to move players out to bring in others then Slater should be the first out of the door. For all that running, he offers nothing.

And who do you reckon would take him, that he would happily go to? He’d have to drop down a level at least and probably a sizeable pay cut.

There’s no point in spending loads on wages up front if you are crap in midfield or at the back.

Have to larf. The Herbert on Blunderside asked Swann if this guy will make a big difference..
'No,' he replied.
Perhaps, Swann knows more than the brain's team...Sometimes we never give him the credit he deserves.
People let personal dislike get in the way .
He knows more than the supposed experts on here .

The space between the lines has been the problem in every game. Down to the coach I'm afraid.
