He's not someone I like tbh did when he first came to Chelsea bit got just a bit foo full of himself by the end of his time here. Managing us would soon bring him back down to earth, as in wtf have I done
It would be funny though and far more entertaining for the rest of us. We need more characters in the PL, we don't seem to have many anymore, and taking the piss out of Arteta every week becomes a bit stale.
Latest England squad announced... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cz605jj5e87o Rashford and Henderson ... just why? Although Sucky will be pleased by Trent's omission...
I preferred the old old format - champions only and straight up knockout Best format by miles None of this hippy love in - we all get get to play ****
Yup - agree 100% ... it really was a "Champions" trophy back then ... should be renamed the 'Cash Cow For The Usual Suspects Cup" ...
The second old format, when it was only champions but they still did a group stage or two, was even better. Be interested to know when 2nd places became admitted. Then third etc. When we cracked the league again in 1993 and got back in the European Cup, we were definitely the only English team.
Yeah Big Ange at Leeds forgot about him, lol. I love it when a reporter asks him a stupid question and he gets a bit ratty.
Feels strange But yup I agree I would just give them the super league Be done with it but never allow any of them anywhere near the domestic game again if they want back they start at the bottom - the very bottom of the pyramid they can have their franchises like American football It will live and die On it’s popularity but I know I am in the minority on this
“Ange, you’ve just lost 11-2 playing no centre-halves and five strikers, will you maybe play a centre-half next week?” “That’s just how we play mate, no more stupid questions”. I do like him though. He’d be a great father-in-law.
If it was the 90s we would have been nowhere near it lol So I don’t remember this phase but yeah that would have been okay I just like the knockout format - group stages don’t really interest me but I don’t hate them either I have lost track of it all but I think of all the English winners since the 80s I thought only Utd had won it how I would have liked us to have won it for me we need to win it this year but my own personal preference holds no real relevance
I grew up as a kid with only one English club having ever won the European Cup, Manchester United. Yeah Celtic won it before them, but as a kid Scotland didn't count. I use to love the Home Nations competition as well, until the Scottish fans decided to celebrate on the hallow Wembley turf, breaking the crossbar...
I know it should really go on the Championship board, but there's a chance to laugh at Lesta tonight as they play Brum at home.
Birmingham are horrible ****s though so I’d take no joy in this happening. Maybe some joy but not too much knowing what’ll come tomorrow.
