    Probably too grown up for that.

    So long as they are able to communicate with everyone and can take on board all views within reason then hopefully this will work out .

    Obviously they will have their remit and won’t be able to get involved in everything but sure those chosen will try their best

    on his return he will have terrrible jet lag. Club will have to take care of him and he will probbably miss a game or be on the bench.

    Maybe, maybe not. In my experience flying east to west, which is likely what he'd be doing, doesn't attract jet lag, whereas flying west to east does.
    I once flew from New Zealand to the UK via the USA and was so shattered that I booked into a hotel near the airport. Slept from 3:00pm right through to 9:00am the next day, then hired a car and drove up to Scotland.

    Well if you did go via the US what did you expect? I'm surprised that you didn't find yourself sleeping in El Salvador.

    Going the other way would have redefined the term 'long haul' - had a stopover in San Francisco.
