With the supposed acquistion of Kelvin Etuhu and another quick paced winger to quote Pearson on the radio, where would this leave the likes of Belaid and Devitt. Also Garcia on twitter has been saying he's enjoying being back in the squad and a return could be anytime soon. What actions would you like to see and how would you like our 3/4 man midfield should look. Discard Stewart as he is injured however he would be in mine.
For me Garcia goes straight back into the side on the right wing and starts every game. He is one of the most underrated players we have who gives his all and has a touch of class people fail to recognise.

Firstly, I still think he was attempting to head it back across the box. And secondly, 1 header over 2 years ago doesn't equate to him being "class". I admit he runs around alot, puts in a decent shift etc - but to go straight back into the starting 11 and play every game ?? Are you his Dad ?
Not to bad mate, do us a favour, bruce! will you sing my praises on these here web-sites, digger, i've got to big myself up for sale, bonzer-style
I think we should scrap the idea of playing a 3 man midfield, especially against a team of Cardiff's quality, it was asking for trouble. Go back to a 4 man midfield, Devitt Evans Koren Belaid/Garcia ?
Kelvin Etuhu sounds like a bad egg to me, but if we were to sign him i guess we do what we did with belaid, give him a run out off the bench, if he's good start him. Are we definitley after him then?
garcia starts for me, can put in a decent cross and in our promotion season was superb, hard worker and helps out defensively, good all round player at this level
One thing he isn't though is a centre forward... i compare him a bit to Folan, runs around, puffs and pants, thats about it. Mind you he did once score a couple of great goals (Burnley and Watford)
agree there, at right mid or no-where, its his only position, possibly at rb if were strapped but thats it.
Richard's contract ran out last year but must have been extended but for how long? Word here in Oz was that Richard had been made an offer by Perth Glory but their future appears to be on the line through financial problems. Should his current contract expire at the end of this season he would have no problem securing a contract with any club in Oz should he wish to do so. There's always America of course.
I think he got an automatic one year extension, based on number of appearances, but it definitely runs out this June(he confirmed it himself in an interview with the Oz edition of 4-4-2 magazine). The amount of games he gets with us between now and then is completely dependant on who we bring in, the signing of Etuhu and Ince(should they happen), would probably limit his options with us. Belaid has been poor in his last two games, he may get another chance, but at this moment a contract extension is looking unlikely. Devitt is dangerous going forward, but is very poor defensively and I think that his options may be limited too.
You are correct regarding Richard and also in your comments on the players you mentioned. Nigel and his staff (and the Management) are not idiots and will be well aware that the Club in general has limitations regarding the quality of player it can attract. Fans who are suggesting a quantum leap back to the EPL should be aware too that we have nowhere near a team capable of competing at that level not have we the financial infrastructure in place to attract and accommodate the 'quality' players required. Richard Garcia may well find another year available to him as he can still play at this level but the EPL is beyond his limitations (imo).
I tend to remember that ball he gave away vs Pompey which cost us a point.. Garcia may be given a chance but he's not the steel we need in the centre - more of a winger.. Belaid could go the way of Bostock.. The loan of Tom Ince sounds promising and we could do with Paul Ince too... (or sth similar)
I like garc, I think he still has a role to play. If he can rediscover the form he was in just before he got injured then he'll be very useful.
