I think Aaron Wilbraham was almost certainly a Muslim. Though I may not be taking this thread all that seriously.
Some Leicester fans told me they'd been abused by Celtic fans for singing songs insulting the pope. I said "soft sods, didn't you know they're Catholics at Celtic?" They said "aye, but we didn't know the Pope was".
You should be ashamed of yourself telling religious jokes like that. Don't you know you could offend someone?
Zaki? Number of Bacon Butties he appeared to have eaten would surely preclude Jewish or Muslim faith? My money is on Pastafarian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster
Oh well, if he actually knows fair enough, just thought with 20% of Egyptians being Christian there was a 1 in 5 chance he was a christian!!
Agree with you up to a point. The Racism card is played to often for my liking. No one should have to put up with obuse or discrimination because of colour or religon but at the same time no one should be accused of being racist if they say that we are allowing to many immigrant into the country. How many of you take offence at Americans calling us Limeys or Aussies calling us Poms.
If you offered sandwiches on white bread only then yes that would be racist. If you only offered sandwiches on brown bread only that would also be racist . The only way you could get away with this is to offer a 'dual heritage'( that's the PC term for mixed race these days) type of bread. May I suggest Hovis 'best of both'. I'd also suggest you don't have any filling, butter or any other type of spread. Just dry bread and no one is offended. Easy when you apply a bit of common sense.
I don't want to complicate this finely balanced thread, but I noticed that McDonalds do a Bagel sandwich now and was wondering if you offered one to a muslim would it be a racial insult? It was once part of a legend that the bagel was invented in a styrrup sort of shape to honour a Polish victory over the Turks in 1683. This has been proved incorrect but a lot of Turk’s might still believe it.
The only veil we need to discuss on here is if we ever get to play against Port Vale in a cup competition.
Koren ALWAYS scores against Leicester, in the six or seven times he has played Leicester, he has scored at least four goals. Ourur midfield is the only area that has been poor this season, we would probably be in the play offs if our most important area performed, we have good CM's but they have all been crap this season, we only have one winger at the club, so we try Neil Danns on the wing and he has been crap on the wing, we we're linked with Koren last summer, but for some reason we didn't bid and he signed for Hull. Here's looking forward to January 1... Watch this space...
Can't see it myself, Leicester have King, Wellens, Abe, Fernandes (although I think his loan is up soon) and Danns, so bringing in Koren would do what for the team except push out already decent players? Moot point, but if Koren did go, the money you would have to stump up in order to buy him (at least £2.5m) could get us an ample replacement. Stock at Donny, Butterfield at Barnsley, Fyvie at Aberdeen, Moussi at Forest, Karacan at Reading and Boyd at Peterborough are all players we could bring into our midfield. And are no doubt all players that NP has considered. In fact I know he has certainly considered one of them......
