There was plenty of talk about xg after the Leicester game because apparently we are should have won by something like 1.5 to 0.5. I go along with what the late great Jimmy Sirrel said, that the right team always wins, the rest is just noise.

It is a yellow card offense but the ref has to be sure, and some players are very good at playing the ref. There’s a fine line between an outright dive and going down easily. If a player is fouled near goal and doesn't go down he probably won't get the penalty or free kick. It's a good reason for having ex players as refs.
