Right someone explain without bitterness, why don't the Mackems turn up? Cos there are ****ter teams than Sunderland that sell out, is the SoL just genuinely too big? Cos it is a massive stadium
According to BBC, they had over 22,000. So how does it look SO empty? That would indicate it was almost half full, yet whole sections were completely empty. And the other areas didn't look crowded. Bizarre.
Think at the minute the crowds are struggling to a degree to their years in the wilderness. Younger fans supporting other teams and older die hard fans dying off and the fact they lost a generation in the 90’s to us. Not all of them before they come piling on in but a lot of school age kids supported us rather than them as it was the cool thing and sensible thing to do
