I find it interesting to know what’s going on at other clubs in the division. Had a quick look at Sheffield United’s forum to see what they think of their start to the season. Also checked out QPR’s forum after their 7-1 loss to Coventry. Apparently, their new head coach Stéphan is nowt more than a bibs and cones figurehead. Their CEO Christian Nourry calls all the shots regarding playing philosophy, formations and even which keeper starts and all the other coaching and backroom staff report to him, not the head coach.

It seems a lot of clubs are moving in this direction where the head coach’s authority is getting more and more diminished in favour of CEOs and DoFs. Can see why Cifuentes left QPR the way he did.

Good day out, decent pub near the ground, sun shining. Then the game started…

Gordon just done a ridiculous challenge on Van Dyke, straight red and dropped his mates in it, he really is a brainless twat.

Did Newcastle earn a draw....Just for the clock to be ran long enough for a winner?

Note: I did not watch it. Woke up hungover in Spain to it. Was told I had to attend the kids disco instead.

Know a lot of Shef U fans, and they're currently 50:50 with their ire at the owners and Selles, they're pissed off about the sales and lack of transfers, but equally pissed off at the style and results Selles is getting....it's really quite amusing, especially with Weds being an utter basket case but laughably being above them in the table, some fun back and forth on a few whatsapp threads i'm on

I really struggle to watch games where City aren't playing, but last nights' game had me watching for the whole 100 mins, Newcastle were the best team for all but 5 mins of the game yet somehow Liverpool won....kind of performance that Man U used to put in when they were off form.

I had that game as 2-2 and lost £95 because of that late goal.

I saw Wirtz for Leverkusen a few times last season and thought he was class but he was ****e last night against Newcastle. £100M fee potentially rising to £116.5M and you expect him to run the show.

    I feel your pain.

I lost about a grand on an accumulator a few years ago when Arsenal scored with literally the last kick of a game, deep into injury time.

Yet another reason to hate the ****s.
