I'd have Coloccini any day in an Arsenal team mate. Possibly the best ball playing centre back in the league and has, in my (biased) opinion, been the best centre back in 2011. So so good.

Him and Vermaelan would be beyond awesome.

Koscielny is better in my opinion. He's really upped his game this year.

I think this is the sort of list which puts into perspective that we have some good players who are often underestimated. I think there are a lot of individuals who even a lot of the top teams wouldn't mind having one little bit, so good thread <ok>

I'd take ****ing loads of players if I could, but to keep it more realistic (well I say realistic) I'll cap it at 3 players each.

And these results are also potentially based on what our team needs, not just the absolute BEST players.

    Citeh - Silva, Aguero, Kompany
Man Utd. - Vidic, Rooney, Nani (how I'd ****ing love Nani on the wing instead of Obertan)
    Chelski - Mata, Sturridge, Ivanovic
Spuds - Modric, Parker (DM cover for Tiote ;)), VDV
Arsenal - RVP (best striker in EPL imo), Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain
    Liverpool - Reina, Lucas?
    Newcastle -
Stoke - Etherington (the most non-Stoke player in Stoke)
    Villa - Bent, Albrighton
    Norwich - Morison?
    Swansea - Dyer, Sinclair
    Everton - Drenthe, Fellaini, Cahill
    QPR - Barton
    Fulham - Dempsey, Dembele
    West Brom -
    Sunderland - Sessegnon
    Wolves - Nobody
    Wigan - Nobody
    Blackburn - Hoilett, Samba
    Bolton - Chung-Yong-Lee

No, Squillaci is basically our Perch, maybe not that terrible, but not great. Koscielny really is a good defender though. Better than saylor and Colo.

Perch is the worst player in the league and it's a shame you are underrating Coloccini so much, he has been our best player for quite some time. He's better than Koscielny in just about every aspect of football.

Koscielny's one of those players who had a poor first season and has since improved, so only his own team's fans rate him. The same is true of Coloccini, Lucas, (maybe Ramires?)

He's not though. Koscielny has helped transform the leagues most embarrasingly inept defense, into a defense that can actually defend.

Coloccini helped get you relegated, Koscielny lost us the carling cup. I know whats worse.

What a coincidence that's exactly what Colo has done to our defense and he is better

    1. Overpaid prima donnas
    2. To many manager changes

Coloccini is the main reason we had the best defensive record at the start of the season and that was 3 seasons ago....

The Koscielny-Coloccini is one of those things where the fans each prefer their own player. Clearly no one's budging.

Coloccini and Taylor = the best centre back pairing in the league.

I watch Arsenal a lot and I can honestly say that while they obviously have a lot of better players than ours, Koscielny is most certainly not a better defender than Colo. He has improved immeasurably but he is not at Coloccini's level, the man is imperious.

They are good players like. Not too sure about Long, and I haven't seen enough of Faurlin. I'd take Walker, but if I limited my choices to 3 then I'm not sure whos place he would take.
