Just back from Corfu, walked into the restaurant one night and was greeted by this. I was like FFS! Anyway real world football not internet nonsense and we had a good chat about it all. Really nice guy. When he gave me the bill I said "thank **** for that I thought I was on Isak rates!" We both laughed. Hope tonight is a good game unspoiled by the officials.
MacAllister is fit Bradley hasn't played enough but it's fit. Alisson Dom Konate VVD Kerkez Gravenberch MacAllister Wirtz Salah Ekitike Gakpo That's probably our line up.
I was sneaking on the Liverpool board earlier and they were saying MacAllister was not fit? Anyhoo that’s a good line up.
Nothing in the press conference this suggest that. I think he'll start. RB is the issue with Szoboszlai probably having to cover.
And Isak. With Botman and Hall probably starting on the bench as not 100% fit yet. So 3 of our first 11 missing from the starting line-up. Add to that Thiaw and Ramsey probably not yet integrated into the squad enough (not for Eddie to start them at least), so again most likely both on the bench at best.
Decent line-up. How are your lot feeling about transfers? Seems like you've spent big on really improving quality in certain areas, but overall trimmed the squad numbers down? Is there plenty if cover / squad depth if the likes of Elliott also move?
We need a CB and (obviously) a striker. Which is nuts with the money we've spent but we've sold well to afford it (from what I've read). I'd be a little worried if we didn't get a CB and I still don't understand the Quansah sale. We could manage without a striker.
Looks like your lot are still after Guehi and Palace are getting worried he could go for free in 1 year.
It's going to be a really tense one to watch this. Unless we are 4-0 up after 10 minutes I might just have to avoid this forum. And even then, I can't guarantee I'll be very engaging. I am basically gearing up to be very angry with the match officials, especially VAR.
