Are we aware Amad would cost 50m+ aye? And would likely have a lot of clubs higher up start bidding as soon as one club tries?

People have to have a dreamIt’s fine to wish lads, seems everyone who merely mentions wishing Amad could join just gets shouted down.
I like Baumgartner a lot. Would be a cracking prem signing. You must log in or register to see mediaWith that move in doubt we should swoop in for Fatawu cause Leicester will probably not want to lose both
I've had one, and you don't!Plus I've never seen anyone that had a ACL walk off a pitch before

I’d be more worried about why you’ve got that clown as your avatar. Get him goneWhy are you so weird about the Amad thing lol, 5 posts in 20 minutes telling people there's no chance. We get it, you don't think he's coming, no need to say the same thing a million times... 99% of the footballing world would have thought there was no chance we would sign Xhaka at the start of the window, too.
I have rewatched some of yesterdays lowlights and have tried to think about how we may remedy what I think our major blocker this season may, which is scoring enough goals. I appreciate of course we scored 3 agaisnt West Ham, but I still maintain they were poor and a decent keeper keeps at least one, if not two out. Yesterday it seemed to easy to nullify us, particularly second half. And I think Burnley were very very average in possession.
I dont subscribe to the buy your way through the levels as most will realise from my posts. And I appreciate I am probably out of kilter. I would sooner coach what we have and add quality to it, not just buy 10 or 12 players every season we need to step up. That said, I think our business so far has left us a little lop sided in the final 3rd.
So my preference now is to go for one star player who could make a crazy impact in that final 3rd. I would love it to be Harvey Elliot personally. I think he has everything we would need and as fans we would love watching his commitment as well as his talent. If he is not possible Fatawu would be someone I love watching. A bit of freedom to come off his wing and he could be terrifying to play against. I would love Nico Paz but that is fantasy stuff. I watched Grealish earlier and he just sees things so well, opens teams up. We need someone to do that for us imo. Whilst I think Adringa and Talbi are good acquisitions for the long haul, maybe someone more able to make a significant impact this season would be the game changer. They cost the big bucks, I get that, but they do so because they deliver the big moments.
I am settled on going with Mayenda as our main man. I would be working so hard with our strikers in training and coaching them about the nuances in prem defending. Get Mayenda in duels with Alderete day in day out.
Speaking of coaching. I want to see Rigg pushed to the fore this season. I am unsure why he wasnt brought on instead of Diarra or Sadiki after 60 mins yesterday. Neither were threatening their back line, or the spaces between the lines. When you have a porsche it would be criminal to keep it in your garage. Drive it. Rigg has the x factor folk talk about, he has the talent but also the freedom to make things happen. We are going to need him making some real contributions this season imo.
I assume we are buying a CB so no point rambling on about this. One thing I would say, we need pace somewhere in that back line. We are too slow for my liking.
My last ask would be we find a way to sort Neil and his contract out. Granit is the man, of course he is. But it seemed quite clear to me yesterday we are going to need alternatives at times, and in games. I dont want to be buying one when we could use and develop what we have. Whatever budget we have needs to go on the two spots I have mentioned, imo. The rest should be on getting already talented lads to stay, develop them and play them.
So not difficult Kristian. Elliot and Rudiger, then a bumper contract for Neil and Rigg. Easy.
That would spending about £50 million on 2 right wingers just cant see the club doing thatBakwa to Leeds would be a strange one. Seems tailor made for our side. We have a strong French contingent and excellent links to his agent. It’s a lot of money but he is one that would likely be worth a lot more in the future. My Leeds mates believe we are offering higher transfer fees and wages.
I’ve got a theory that Sacha T bloke on twitter gets plenty right but also is used by agents to leak stories to apply pressure to clubs. His link of Bakwa to Forest came a few days before they signed Hutchinson and Mcatee. Would love to think we are the background and it’s a case of Strasbourg trying to milk an extra mil or two out of us.
Be preparedBakwa was on the bench again today, came off and got the match winning assist - 2 assists in 2 league games for the lad
Id be gutted if he ended up at Leeds
