<grr> I hope Arsenal don't become the new Liverpool, nicking all our transfer nous! To be honest, Wenger was probably after him from early on, he's been great for a while now! I'd love for him to come to us, but if he had to go to any other club in the Prem i'd rather Arsenal than anyone else.

Maiga is very left footed. So we might have more balance in the side soon.

Yeah, definitely the ones from the right. It's much harder to score them from there with a right footer and when we need to float a ball into the box, Raylor drills it far too hard and close to the keeper.

Ben Arfa's always really keen to take penalties and free kicks but he seems too timid/polite. I thought he'd be more of a personality.

We're after him because of Santos' injury. I was thinking Wenger would just bring some Academy wonderkid through, we've got some 17 year old left back, Martin Angha, who's on the verge of a callup. Looks like Wenger now enjoys spending some dosh.

He came over here with that reputation, but since he's been here we've seen nothing of the sort.

Im probably alone in thinking this but, all of Raylors FKs have been poor recently IMO.

Maybe he's stalking Damien Comolli, who spends his days following Graham Carr.

    This. <ok>

I cant really remember the missed ones, but he doesnt float them into the box half as well as Barton. I wish Cabaye took a few more, his beauty @ Blackburn showed some lovely technique.

Cabaye's delivery in open play is brilliant, surely his set pieces would also be brilliant. Lucky buggers, the guy should be wearing the red of Arsenal.

Every one i've seen recently is straight into the wall or straight in front of the 'keeper so they can collect it, or just way over/wide...seeing as that's pretty much the reason he's in the team you'd expect better to be honest...

Inaccurate as far as I can tell. That's a tweet to SSN rather than from them, bizarrely.

You were supposedly chasing him a few seasons ago when he was still more of a prospect. Wenger doesnt have the French market to himself anymore it seems ;)

We play a potentially very successful, but very risky, game in the transfer market. Plenty of foreign players who are either out of form, on strike, injury-prone or whatever else, but with a lot of potential.

I wouldn't mind this tactic if we're buying players to invest in, but if we're only bringing someone in on loan, then I'd rather it was a bit of a safer choice to be honest. Someone EPL proven who will slot right in. Save the gambles for when the potential return is much much higher.

There are a lot of less reliable sites posting that we are in talks though.
