I’ve been impressed with Charlton in the stuff I’ve seen from them so far this season. Could be dark horses for a playoff place. Imagine Jones’ reaction if they beat us in the playoff final

 

Yeah they look very good for a promoted side. Don't see them getting above midtable though.

Jones is a very good manager at this level.

Quite a lot of those “fans” will have only watched the last couple of seasons so only ever seen them do well.


(There’s plenty of Saints fans whose only experience of the Championship is instant promotion, and so expect that too.)

 

Wouldn't advise anyone to drive to Brum this season and use street parking.
