Here man, that is a ****ing horrible thing to say. You are a pathetic, egotistical, attention seeking ****. I’d far rather you stop posting on this board than literally any other person. It’s saying **** like that to people which is the reason suicide rates are so high in men. Have a ****ing word with yourself.
That's bang out of order. **** me, can you imagine what would have been said if we'd lost by 3? I really wish that all the internet was real identities. Needed to use your real name etc and had to prove it when signing up for anything. Guarantee 99% of this macho bullshit keyboard warrior crap would end and we'd also see a reduction in self harm of all ages.
We’re going to lose a lot of games this season, more than we’ll win. A lot of our fans (on both sides of the coin) are going to need to get a lot better at dealing with it. This thread and others on here last night are an absolute embarrassment to the board.
****tibg hell. I had a too many Leffe last night but glad I focused on my drinking.. Maybe drinking is good for you after all. Also, what does dox mean? Have to say though I don’t enjoy match threads because of the excess negativity and haven’t for a long time bit my aim is just to let it go over my head as much as possible..I think people getting involved taking sides doesn’t help, just leave people who are locked in to hack away at each other and post something else. I’ve been guilty in the past but it’s ruined my day so opting out. Hope we can leave this to history now.
Spot on, the behave from a lot last night was shocking tbh - calling people out for fights is pathetic tbh but comments like noone would care if you stopped posting is also pathetic. It's not a popularity contest, who cares how many likes someone gets on posts - we all contribute in different ways to the threads on here. The whole stuff with cliques is cringy as well, of course folk will get along with some folk better Honestly place gets ruined by folk not being able to share their opinions on the match without being told they are being too positive or too negative. The match day threads wasn't even that negative yesterday but apparently this place is relentless for negativity @RTB thanks for putting the thread together, was some cracking discussions about what we could have done differently and folks views on the game. Look forward to the one for Huddersfield, excited to see what the team is we put out.
Honestly wasn't that negative about the match, a few comments about is being s**te in the 2nd half but some good comments on what we could have done differently
I have no problem with constructive criticism/negativity about the match and performance in and of itself (you can get some really good, healthy debate and discussion from that) and I think that was all that this thread was on this occasion. It’s when everything is catastrophised or wrongly extrapolated that I don’t like it. We lose a game so suddenly our players aren’t up to standard, the manager is a useless yes man, the DoF is negligent and the owner is a penny pincher and worse than Stewart Donald etc. Saw that a lot on here last season (maybe why some are over sensitive to any criticism from some posters) and it’s already on other social media - Xhaka is finished, our recruitment has been poor, we’ve overpayed, we need at least 5 more additions etc.
There wasn't any comments like that yesterday, that i can remember, that's why i was so surprised it escalated like it did It really wasn't that negative yesterday Totally get why folk would be annoyed bringing up stuff like that but there wasn't anything like that yesterday Think pretty much everyone agreed we weren't good enough yesterday but it escalated when it shouldn't have
I know, just backing it up as was mental how it escalated and folk get jumped on for saying the performance wasn't great
There were a number of *insert ‘well that escalated quickly’ GIF here* moments weren’t there! I’m hoping alcohol was a factor. It’s not an excuse but at least explains some of it. In an attempt to add some balance, some posters already have their backs up about certain others perhaps because they have been the worst offenders for catastrophising things in the past. Again, not excusing it but perhaps seeking an explanation. But they should play the ball not the man, reply to the post not the poster etc and if someone grinds your gears that much put them on ignore (that applies to both sides). Would make much more pleasant reading for the rest of us.
