Cancer is such a cruel disease; taking young and old without discrimination and always before their time. I am so glad you decided to do this Syd, I know even small amounts make a difference. Respect to all posters and those making donations. RIP Janie.

his 3 kids. Brilliant idea. Do we have a lead to Roger's donation

Never got to see any of my grandparents due to cancer.

One of my best friends lost his mother at a young age to cancer.

My cousin Debbie, a remarkable girl, lost her long fight with cancer aged 15. She touched anyone she met with her boundless energy, wisdom beyond her years and sheer determination not to let cancer ruin her life. She lived in Australia, I never got to meet her.


Take care in this difficult time. I'm not going to pretend that I'm all of a sudden your closest buddy but my thoughts are with you.

They'll know anyway we're all Family.

I think that all of us have either lost someone close, or will lose someone close to cancer some time in their lives...
The difference with Billy's loss is the suddeness, which must be very difficult to take for him...My thoughts will be very much with him tomorrow...

Absolutely amazing to see a group of people who don't know each other come together so strongly. Keep the head up Billy, we all spout some crap on here but we're good folk at the heart.
