In situations like this, you have to pick the players who can best cope with pressure and stress. Nervous players cannot be picked. The following players should not be being picked at this point, which doesn't mean they're bad players but that they are not best suited to cope with nerves: Morgan Walsh Kolli Potentially Morrison too Esquerdinha seems to be calm so he's fine there. But we need calm heads on the pitch until we can settle into some decent form. Not sure where Chair is today? Would have preferred Nardi. Maybe should have been Cook and Dunne in the middle, with Esquerdinha and Adamson on either side of them? Or Dunne at RB with Mbengue and Cook in middle. Smyth instead of Kolli, just for the experience and know how. Perhaps could have started with two strikers, to keep their defence busy.
This is a disaster but at least I didn’t go. 0-0 Bards v Bishops and at least I can drown my sorrows while watching the game.
