anybody heard of these labubu dolls ?
my daughter suddenly obsessing over getting them for birthday, they are sold out most places.

bought some very convincing looking fakes from a local stall at a charity day , but its in paper today that they are a risk with cancer producing chemicals ,
is that genuine thing or scaremongering? mrs wants to bin them now...
They're said to be in danger of breaking up into small pieces thus a risk of choking.
She'll know if you give her a knock-off.

On your head be it :emoticon-0100-smile

Bought grandkids 4 of them because they would not stop nagging for them, real ones have 9 teeth and you can scan the bottom on a qr code to check they are real, they came out last year i think but this year they have taken off , used to be around £3 but then they went up to £49 but now i think you can get for around £9.

Not heard about any illness effects off them.

Update just read seems fake ones are risk.

ours have 9 teeth, cos i read that before.

we paid 8 quid each so im pretty sure they are fake, as that article says they are 30 odd.

You could get around that price before they sold out and went silly prices, but pop art genuine ones you scan the qr code bottom of feet i think i remember and it directs you to the pop art site and verifies your doll and number.

That’s because there no way that fake goods manufacturers could ever copy a QR code…

How social media works

—-

You:

“I’m going to eat a biscuit ”

—-

The replies:

“But I don’t like biscuits! ”

“You shouldn’t eat that type of biscuit, you should eat this type of biscuit instead”

“Biscuits are bad for you”

“Allow me to educate you about biscuits. You probably don’t know this but…”

“You should make your own biscuits instead”

“I just had some vegetables from my vegetable garden, much better than biscuits!”

“I’m better than you at eating biscuits”

“Fake!”

“Wrong!”

“I actually did my PHD on biscuits so I’m more qualified than you to talk about biscuits”

“Alright for some!!! Some of us can’t afford biscuits!!!”

“Why am I seeing this on my feed?”

“That’s not how you spell biskuits”

“My great grandmother actually invented biscuits”

“No, sorry, I do not want diabetes thank you very much. Do you have diabetes? I bet you have diabetes.”

“How are you not dead?”

“Unfollowed”

“Where can I buy biscuits please?” (It’s written in the post, and the answer is “all supermarkets”)

“What are these biscuits called?” <it’s also written in the post>

“Processed rubbish!!!!! ”

“Do you mean cookies?”

“I’m not reading all that”

“I haven’t eaten biscuits since I saw a YouTube video about biscuits and saw they’re made with horse poo”

“I haven’t eaten a biscuit since being diagnosed with gout in 1972”

“Recipe please”

“That’s not a biscuit, it’s a cake, there was a famous court case that said…”

“I know this is meant to be a lighthearted post about biscuits, but I’m going to talk about something incredibly serious and off-topic instead…”

“So?”

“I find this post offensive”

“”

“Why?”

“No banana for scale?”

“Where is the plate from please?”

“Hello kind stranger. I came across your profile and I must say I hold a deep respect for you and your content. Please can you DM so we can start a mutual friendship. Bless you dear. ”

“You need to get out more mate”

“Biscuits were better in my day”

“Oh I love biscuits! Great post! Thank you! Love your content!” <you will ignore all of the comments like this one and focus on the negative ones instead>

The the "real ones" and the "fake" ones will all be made in the same or identical factories from identical materials. They just don't want you to infringe copyright.

England 14-0 up, there's some fearsome-looking women out there! USA look good when they find space to run it but I think Eng are just a bit too strong for them.
