Must've missed those posts, I've seen posts that say going off last season we were the better side for the 2 games and it's been acknowledged that we're a better side now with the new signings

 

If they start with that same side, which I dont see happening, we should really be able to get to them. I agree mind, with some, that theres not many I would take from this Burnley squad, missing 3 key men from last season.

 

Its just common sense to say "we are better now" and "they are arguably worse". And last season we bested them twice. So really, if youre optimistic, youre expecting a good performance and good result.

I dont think its getting carried away.

I believe Xhaka could be the difference in games such as this.

 

Walker isnt the same as before, he hasn’t got the speed. Our young guns can get at him,
Get the goal early on and I think they’ll be there for taking

 

If they start in the same shape I fancy us

 

Anybody got any tips for good craft ale pubs in Burnley?

 

All Parker went on about was the "world class" second goal they conceded, there isnt much you can do about a strike like that so pointless worrying about it.

He should be more concerned with the other 2 goals they let in.

Just watching back the extended highlights from Spurs v Burnley. I think our wide players, particularly Adingra, are really important here. The 3rd goal in particular, Walker is completely exposed and leaves his zone which leaves a huge gap between Sonne and Ekdal that Johnson easily takes advantage of. Their left side is more solid with Esteve and Hartman but that right side is really poor.

 

I'll be there tomorrow, last day off before going back to work after 5 weeks off so im excited and devastated at the same time

Burnley fan on five live says they are better than us and have a better chance of staying up than we do

 

They were definitely better last season. Not so sure now, time will tell.

From my recollection there is nothing good in Burnley.

With West Ham playing tonight we might get an idea of how we played last week.
Were WHU so poor or were we so good.
If Chelsea stick 5 or 6 past them maybe we aren’t as good as we thought but if WHU get a draw or less than a 3 - 0 defeat maybe we really are that good.
If WHU are better than Chelsea tonight I don’t know what to think.

 

If Walker was still Walker he’d not be at Burnley.

He will still be half decent I’m sure but he got flamed multiple times in Italy, never mind the PL.

Absolutely honking his last England game as well.
