Looks like we are hoping for Larsen and Wissa I'm convinced we won't sign Wissa tbh. Brentford need him and his conduct has been like Isak, it's a matter of principle for Brentford now
Brentford can't afford to have principles in a world of PSR. No way they can let him leave on a free next year.
Thing is, if Isak was happy and playing, Larsen would be an excellent replacement for Wilson. Hes younger, a proper target man build coming off a great season. But for this price and with our current situation we are essentially signing a number 9 It's a gamble, but I think he can work.
It's all just so annoying that Isak has done this when we really, really could have kicked on this season. Who knows how this window might have gone.
Yeah and Elanga could be great for us too. All we needed was a decent Wilson replacement and all was looking good.
Romano claimed we’re back in touch over Jackson. Can see these two, age profile fits and allows Isak to move. Talent wise Jackson has it, it’s about temperament. Larsen is solid and better than Wilson. Could allow us to not overspend this summer and keep building window on window as well. Wouldn’t be against it.
Current names banded about, Jackson is clearly the best, so I'm for it. We haven't got a choice. Larsen can work, but I'm still so dubious its even a real conversation, he JUST signed for Wolves
If we get get both and then Isak goes, then I think it's as good as we can expect right now. I assume the club are waiting until it's too late for Isak to play against us for the scumbags on Monday before approving anything.
