Levy is a dinosaur that football has left behind, we`ve been strung along and mugged off by Eze, and I am not too bothered I won`t be seeing a Woolwich fan pulling on our shirt, but the real problem is Levy`s lack of ambition and urgency in the transfer market, a chairman that came out recently and said he wants to compete to win the PL & CL. Sitting on his piles of cash waiting for PSR to swing in his favour is no way to run a football club. No doubt there are still some fans drunk on their love for Levy & ENIC, but at this stage it is just pure stubbornness and delusion, the refusal to accept what is staring back at them, it reminds me of those who still back Two Tier Starmer and the Liebour party, despite being repeatedly lied to, they just cannot accept they have been swindled and duped.
Not really surprised, having his medical probably so that he can be registered for the weekend. Palace haven't signed a replacement either which was also holding the deal up.
this is what I find frustrating. He’s an Arsenal fan who was released as a kid. It was well known that he’s an Arsenal fan. Arsenal showed interest at the start of the window. Of course he’s gonna accept an offer from them. We all would if we were professional footballers who had the chance to play for spurs. So why did we bother wasting so much time on something that’s got so many red flags?!
The rumors of us going for El Khannous are somewhat amusing (and quite likely bullshit clickbait after yesterday’s fiasco). Paratici was supposedly brought in to help palace find a replacement for Eze. And now we find ourselves without Eze, whilst supporting them in finding a replacement for a player who is no longer joining us. I’d quite like to sign him (not because palace have done anything wrong) but just because it’d be great ****housery and pettiness.
Because Arsenal showed interest at the beginning of the window and then cooled their interest in him. Spurs put the feelers out and Eze would have joined Spurs. Spurs weren’t to know that Arsenal were gonna come back in for him and tbh they probably wouldn’t have if Havertz hadn’t got injured. My only gripe in all this is how long and slow Spurs were with negotiations. By the sounds of it all, a fee was never agreed.
B..b..but they promised they couldn't make a deal until after their precious qualifier. That's what took Levy 10 days to get the deal done. W...w...we had a verbal agreement.
Honestly think that Rodrygo has the potential to be another Robinho Absolute class in home games - and absolute ass in away games
Savinho Watch Romano (hock tooey) says we've made contact again. Now, how do we find that one board member and lock them in a cupboard for a couple of days? Also, interesting observation: we've heard repeatedly that Frank is a fan of Savinho, and that he was a fan of Gibbs-White plenty of times - but we never had that for Eze
