bet he has some stories, I know what you mean, seems like someone you can have a proper chat over a glass of red wine ( he seems fancy) and just chat. his celebrations and how he was after the whistle at the PO showed me that its not about him, its the players, he didnt want the limelight
“Nordi is versatile which is a big positive for us, it’s not alway the case with new signings,” Le Bris said. “Probably his best position in our current squad is either the right back or the right centre back, but also giving us the opportunity to play with three centre backs as well, so this is a positive for us.
There are so many head coaches I would love to spend time with mate, but I am a nerd when it comes to coaches and what makes them tick. Regis is a tough one to work out. Partly why I like him. A riddle wrapped in a mystery etc. I do wonder how much he would have to say in a 1 to 1 tbh. He is clearly a deep thinker you might find you need a secons bottle of red before the juicy answers come I have had a bit of luck and met a few coaches over the years. Just bits and pieces of chats really, nothing intense. I can tell you Southgate is a gentleman. My fav listen was Glenn Hoddle, some years ago though with him.
If they want €30m for Lucumi (I assume with addons) let’s just do it at this point. He’s clearly a multi level up signing.
Don’t see Reinildo as a WB. Don’t particularly see Hume as one either but he does have good attacking stats.
Sunderland's Le Bris discusses transfer links Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris has reaffirmed his club's desire to add more players to the squad amid rumours over Jhon Lucumi and Abdul Fatawu. The Black Cats have spent big ahead of their Premier League return but Le Bris is expecting to see one more addition to the backline. Asked about a move for Lucumi, Le Bris said: "We still want to reinforce the squad if it makes sense for the balance. "It’s still possible in the back line if we find the right player with the right mindset to reinforce the squad, we still have one option "But if it is not the case, we will stay like that." And asked about Leicester winger Fatawu, he replied: "Same answer. If it’s possible to reinforce the squad with the right profile we will move forward. "But it’s not just our question. It’s a question of the player, question of the club, so we’ll see."
I think our priority now over anything should be another winger, capable of finding the net aswell as assisting. We only really have 2 decent wingers now that are unproven. Roberts just wont cut it in this league, he struggled to assist and find the net in the Championship nevermind the Prem, and Mundle is always an injury worry.
Looks like Strand Larsen is going to the mags. He's pretty good, not sure he's £60m good though. Also helps to weaken another team so thanks for that.
Nearly £200m on Larsen, Ramsey, Elanga and Thiaw is mental. All 4 good players but the fees are mental.
A league one loan for Ogunsuyi would be a ideal, definitely scores goals down there if Jack Diamond is playing how he is
Strand Larsen is a cracking player and has the potential to score 20 goals a season. Wolves will double their money in just over a month which is cracking business but I don't think they could adequately replace him, which would be good for us.
