I had a bad wisdom tooth hurting like buggery for a few days & had to pop Tramadol to ease the pain. My NHS dentist told me a few weeks ago that they couldn't treat me so they referred me to a private clinic with a 6 month waiting list costing several hundred. Walked into a private Spanish dentist today filled out a form & the lady removed it for €60. In & out in 30 minutes. This free NHS treatment is very slow & expensive
Wisdom tooth pain is probably more excruciating than child birth , I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
I used to get these agonising earaches. Every three weeks for ten days like clockwork. This went on for over two years and was driving me to despair. No doctor could diagnose the issue. I happened to change dentists and went for a routine appointment. He looked around for a minute and then asked me if I suffered from earaches. I sat up as if I'd been struck by lightning. Ten minutes later he'd removed a tooth that had a huge gnarly root. To this day I've never had another earache. Every Christmas I send the dentist an expensive bottle of wine. He literally saved my sanity. I never knew teeth could affect the ears.
