I’d be ok with Isak to Spurs/Arsenal - I’m firmly in the anyone-but-the-dippers camp…. letting him lose out on his obsession suits me fine
Arsenal less so, but mostly because I can't stand Arteta. They come a close (ish) 2nd to the dippers in terms of dislike.
They do…. but it could mean karma biting the dippers on the arse; agitated and briefed to get Isak in a hissy fit, then lose out on the title to an Isak led Arsenal. Lesser of evils
Outstanding knowledge. That feels like choosing between which of your own eyes you want to shove a rusty fork into.
I mean, if there were another option - any team - then in terms of decision making, it would feel more like having the choice between shoving said fork into either your left eye, your right, or one of Trev's.
Louise Taylor, Guardian football hack - dyed in the wool mackem, almost always spins an anti-Newcastle match report irrespective of what we do. Now reporting on “Isak’s transfer to Liverpool” like it’s an agreed plan, and stating that Isak’s training alone “in an attempt to force a move to Liverpool” - EDDIE’S MADE HIM TRAIN ALONE YOU ****ING IDIOT! …. we’re taking on Liverpool’s US ownership, their Tap-Up hierarchy, their mock-indignant-at-the-inhumanity-of-it-all-but-we-don’t-care-either-way fan base, Brendan’s 16 year old cry-baby of a son, Brendan, the UK media, Instagram, TwitterX… and our own Roly…. For the sake of my football ego and my mental wellbeing we’d better win.
Just 2 more weeks mate and then you'll be strutting around those streets of London wearing only a Toon top (yes, only - I know what you are like), as all the locals bow down to you like slaves to a Pharoah.
She’s always been a biased, second rate hack from so long as I can remember even going back to when she used to write for the Sunday Times.(IIRC)
