Always wet and windy here it seems , I think the earths axis has tilted again causing all these earthquakes , storms ,and other extreme weathers! ,In conjunction with man made climate change just a thought!
Call from the garage and confirmed EGR valve was the problem. They have cleaned it up and it seems ok. Still going to try and swap it as it will probably happen again due to the mileage it does.
I've noticed that our seasons seem to have shifted by a month or two. Winter used to kick in around end of October but these days it nearer the end of December. Spring seems to be delayed until April, Summer has all but disappeared and Autumn is a few weeks of leaves dumping and that's your lot.
Just had a massive clap of thunder (bout an hour ago) a local lightning strike ,and power down across the town! Because of the high water levels , I was nervous about the cellar flooding as no power ,no pump! Fortunately the modem and comps were protected by an anti spike box ,which is now fried but has served its purpose , got the candles out and open fire on the go ,and contemplated how dependant we are on electricity!!
Winter used to start in September and finished with the cup final first Saturday in May. This was designed so that summer was reserved for cricket.
Sandy you're right about the seasons, and wouldn't you just know it, Summer is the one that's non existent. Bugger! Meanwhile, Master Hornette's car now has a new battery (i hope it needed it!)...and now we've discovered that his right indicator is on the blink! In fact, he's not sure it's ever really worked properly...aghhh! So, that's a service then! Still, at least we've had the tyres checked and they were fine..yay!
I really annoyed people when i first joined, Because i put tons of pointless threads. People thought I was a Wum. Sorry Guys.
Doing my best here to listen to the Juniors match at Millwall but the Curse of Watford Player strikes again....and again...and again
I cannot understand why you have problems BB. It is coming over loud and clear here. 0-0 still, Millwall No.11 just booked.
17 mins.gone and the lads have been doing very well. Still 0-0 but we have some lads with a lot of pace. Millwall have just managed their first real attack.
Lot of press interest at the ground. Millwall also broadcasting on their player. Tommy Hoban heads the young Horns into the lead.
