Huh? I would have thought it was obvious I was talking about his second season here.

Such a shame he turned Leicester down to go to Rangers, he could have been the un-tinkerman

I would have liked less entertaining football, perhaps a few more draws after all Points mean prizes our unbeaten run included a lot of score draws.

The goodwill he built up here probably carried him through the first few months in the PL

That's quite different as he had a ton of credit with us and the board. Rangers fans will just see him as the guy that was terrible at Saints.

That man is such a ****ing charlatan and I was so surprised that a club like Rangers failed to realise this before they employed him. You reap what you sow.

Maybe. I don't think there was THAT much goodwill though. It's not like we'd stormed the Championship with 110 points and everyone was hailing him as the new Special One.

Feel sorry for the Rangers fans, as this bloke will never learn.

He smiles a lot and has a lovely tidy beard. If SR had bankrupted themselves with PSR and bought the world class players for his system we could have been the new PSG or Barcelona unfortunately football hasn't been like that since Blackburn won the league.

I am surprised that Martin is proving to be so bad at Rangers. Scottish football is much less of a challenge than the Premier League and probably little harder than the Championship. I have to say that I felt that we were really flattered to get promotion under his stewardship though I loved the unbeaten run.

Last season was painful. That Martin seems to be replicating this at Rangers is really amusing. He is far from being a misunderstood genius. Not convinced he will be there next month and clearly lost the fans already. It would be amusing is he was given the time religate Rangers. If he gets the push tonight, no one should be shocked.

Towards the end of that unbeaten run in the Championship and through to the Leeds Utd play-off final, l felt we got that far despite Russel Martin, rather than because of him. The quality in the squad was, for me, the deciding factor.

Not too surprised if you want to play Pep ball you need Pep players. Scottish football is gritty, even Pep is moving away from Pep ball as every manager in the "top 6" Are changing away from passing from the back.

Can we all agree that Martin couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery?

In fairness I don't think losing to Brugge is a huge shock, would have thought they'd be underdogs?

Yeah but there's losing and then there's going 3-0 down inside 20 minutes at Ibrox.
