'The 72' has linked this to the Dane Murphy business. Is there an emerging problem at CAFC we have not been told about?
Glad we got him. Don't know what was going on with the earlier story about a problem with the deal. But that was being reported.
He's not really had a good chance fall his way yet. Assuming he's a long term replacement for Godden, who may have got a better touch on the TC cross/shot on Saturday, I'm not sure he would have stood out either in the first 2 games
I wasn't overly impressed by Docherty against Watford. But not having been to a game since November 2022 prior to Saturday, I'm pretty sure I've never seen him play live. I don't watch the team on TV. Have never enjoyed that.
Also a valid point. He probably needs a bit of time to get up to speed with the disrupted pre-season, but he will need to show more. I'd be interested to see him play with Miles or Tanto. A bit more physicality around him may help
Ahadme joins Stevenage on loan for the season. Hopefully he can find some form there and someone will want to take him off our hands in January/next Summer
Kaheim Dixon joins Crawley on a season long loan. Will be interesting to see how he copes with league football
We're losing our backroom staff! Tracey Leaburn, Dr Will, and now our deadball specialist. Dr Abbott was derided on here in his early days,0 but when you think of what our injury list used to be I'd say he's answered his detractors. You can also look at the number of late goals we score, whereas we used to concede, as a testament to our fitness. Even Chuks was injury-free for months
I'm a little surprised by this, maybe that means Zak Mitchell won't go out on loan as it doesnt seem we can rely on Reece Burke being fit
Come on then chaps, give me an honest appraisal on what we are getting. God knows he doesn't have to be a world beater to improve on our current defence.
Quite a reliable defender without being dominant. Quite strong in the air but his passing isn't great. You'll always get 100% commitment and a very good attitude.
