MOTD is ****, and editing is biased. Isn't going to change. Not going to watch it or get annoyed by it <laugh>

I read somewhere that it was Füllkrug. He caused a bit of damage to the away changing room when Potter walked out to do his post match media stuff.

Moving on from Shearergate, just watched the full 90, what a great day, couldn’t be happier or more proud of our club well worth the drive.

As always, watching the video, I stayed until the very end and I’m sure the last few frames shows one of us, a very prominent figure on here, have you seen yourself I wonder?
Won’t say who in case you want to stay anonymous.

Well if it was Fullkrug causing a stir, it's more than he did on the pitch. He epitomised them, apart from Bowen they were just lacking in energy and zip, even in the first half when they had most of the ball.

They are missing a couple, (who isn't?) but they should be worried. Most of the teams they play will be better than a just promoted side and there will be other hot atmospheres for them to contend with. That's just the reality of it.

They were a rabble in the second half, looking more leggy and lost as the half went on. I'm not that sold on Potter myself, but it can't be all him. He has inherited an old squad and it is beyond baffling to me how they have ended up there. Who runs that show? You'd think it was a provincial solicitor from Northern Ireland who had lucked her way into the job.

It's only one game. And there is a while to go before the window closes. But signing Callum Wilson is a red flag, and clearly, if they play with the lack of verve they showed on Saturday, they will lose most matches they play.

Good few minutes by Carragher analysing our goals there. 9/10 aerial duels won in both boxes was the key.

The first goal for me was surprising to see how many we committed forward. Could feel the momentum shifting second half and we stepped on the gas. That alderete sub, even though fortunate/unfortunate how it was made, ended up working in our favour massively.

yeh beyond what Carra said, it gave the whole side a balance. Just felt so much more secure

Reinildo and Diarra pushing into the front line meant Mayenda had a 1v1 header, really good stuff

I love all this tactical analysis by the likes of Carragher and that YouTube video I posted above, and by alt ending.

I always wonder how much of it is intentional versus happens on the fly. Or even how much of it is a complete accident / coincidence.

I’ll never be able to spot this stuff :D

Yeah makes the lucumi deal really interesting, will it be either/or between him and alderete?

its fascinating isn’t it. Just playing footy at amateur level you can’t imagine this stuff all gets worked on, but it all will be.

ome thing I noticed at the game, after the first two goals, Xhaka was all about ‘keep your heads”. Nothing against Neil, but he was far more invested and emotional when we scored. Xhaka was all about making sure heads were still in the right place. Keep going, concentrate. The quality you absolutely need as a skipper.

LOVE IT! How the **** did we get Granit Chaka man!!!

He absolutely pissed leadership and focus.

Was the smartest signing any newly promoted side has ever made.
