I think it's just the country in general mate, rather than any specific location or aimed at any specific individuals, there's a very good reason I say this as well, something I've highlighted a few times and certainly not just at you. Having travelled to many football games, I'd began to notice the intolerance towards certain behaviours and language in general. I often joked it would not be long before they start banning this stuff and start arresting everyone. This came to a high when my club played a team Steve Evans was managing at the time. There was some bad blood between our fans and that manager, after comments he made when we last beat them. It was only trivial such as you celebrated like it was your FA Cup win... So next time Evans visited our home ground, long before he became our manager, which was quite some bantz, The Rainham End rang out with the cries of you Scottish Fat Bastard. As a result a whole family, I kid you not got arrested from just behind the visiting manager in the family stand. Reason it stuck with me because the person that was arrested was a member of this forum at the time. So we are all scratching our heads thinking, so what's the charge....it appears by using the word Scottish in you Scotish Fat Bastard, was indeed a criminal offence lol. It made all the rag headlines, and eventually commonsense came in and the family were released from their cells, purely because Steve Evans didn't want to press charges, now what if he had! Since that day it's become an arrestable offence for a whole array of language now, including misogynisitc language, including chants, including aimed at any officials or treatment coaches. Some of the stuff I've even read on this forum would get you arrested if said in a football stadium. As they say mate, it's the way of the world now.

If the old bill stop me in the street and ask for my name and address I am under no legal obligation to give it them ... they'll just make some **** up about looking suspiciously Asian in a build up area and nick me. I had police knock on my mums door when I was about 15, she'd just come back from a cruise so I had the flat to myself for about 8weeks. They came to have a word about me shouting out the window "get a real fuking job you grasses" everytime they walked past on thier beat the last few weeks. My mum called me to the door and I said it again and shut the door on them. My mum apologised to them after but she thought it was hilarious

I think you’re playing down the actions of Palestine Action, mate. When they attacked the factory in Glasgow they caused over 1m pounds worth of damage to the parts essential for our submarines and when the staff fled for safety, they were attacked in the evacuation area with pyrotechnics and smoke bombs. The attack at the RAF base caused several million pounds worth of damage to our jets that are also used for national security, just like our submarines. That’s apart from attacks elsewhere and intimidation that has been used against staff at various sites. I believe the terrorism label they’ve got is well deserved. They’ve attacked and caused terror to many innocent people and they’ve disrupted national security. **** them is my honest opinion of the ****s.
Thing was you could have a laugh with the cops back then. They did at least try to engage with you. I remember when I first left home, one copper helped me out with a load of furniture, there were some genuine nice cops who did want to help, and didn't want you to be in trouble. Afterall whatever the situation it benefits them to keep a good rapport, things don't get nasty, no need for tasers and knives, sadly them times seem lost now. Keeping those past connections could go a long way to solving some of todays problems, but we need them back on the streets, and not managing everything via CCTV and inside car shells. That social contact has been lost.
