Bit of both. He was badly unsighted, but having got hands to the ball perhaps should have kept it out. He's got plenty of credit in the bank whatever.

Yeah it’s clear as day. It’s irrelevant to me regardless as Kamara had a cracking cameo but it did come off the defenders heel

Other than the goals, I didn’t think that was a particularly interesting game for us. In fact, I don’t think any of the games under Sellés were that entertaining. We averaged about 40% possession even against average teams, sat deep and hoped for the best.

We had 75% possession against Oxford but it didn’t feel like a typical game under Rosenior either. Under Jakirović, we’re clearly capable of dominating possession against weaker teams but we’re quicker moving it forward. Every time we got the ball on Sunday, I was expecting us to get forward and create a chance. I can’t remember the last time I watched City play like that, especially at home.

As has been said. Loving this tactic of a centre mid dropping between the centre backs to pick up the ball and make a positive pass.

Very little of the constant sideways and backwards passing between defenders and keeper.

Without wishing to put a downer on yesterday, we've conceded five goals in our last two games, both against pretty mediocre opposition. Our pre-season defence and against Coventry was pretty rock solid and it can't be a coincidence that we've started to give daft goals away since Ajayi has been missing.

I thought it was a bit of a shame that when Horton was being interviewed, you couldn't hear a word he was saying, at least in the East.

An excellent footballer as well as manager, when he started as City's player/manager, he would come on and dictate the midfield, and you would hear him barking orders to other players. Top bloke and very good manager.

One of our best ever managers too, plus a top player with it. Wrongly sacked by Don Robinson, a rash knee jerk decision that probably ended Robinsons interest in City. He knew he'd made a huge mistake in sacking him.
When Horton was still managing and playing for City an amateur team I ran were playing the Ex Tigers one Sunday morning and he came along to watch. One of the Ex Tigers, Jeff Barmby, asked us if we would mind if Brian Horton had a game, although he shouldn't be playing, so if he did would we keep it quiet?
We agreed and he played the first half and was magnificent, a real gent too. His autobiography is a good read too and he speaks well of his time with Hull City. Top bloke.

I would say after the testing for the bloke doing the pre match, they had to turn the base down, so when any normal human being talks you couldn’t hear a thing. Everyone talks about Brian as a great coach/manager. Jon Parkin talks about him as one of the fiercest managers he has played for. One not to cross.

I thought it was a good back heel at the time, was nearly in line with him in West Stand, and watching the video someone posted from North Stand still think it was. Anyone claiming he never touched it or it was lucky is talking BS.
