Rumours that we're cooling on Wissa due to Brentfords stance and are instead readying a bid of around £69m for Semenyo, with the intent to play him as a creative second striker. Still chasing Ramos to be our new #9.
Don't believe it, tbh, but Semenyo is ****ing mint and we should've just stumped up £70m for him instead of £55m for Elanga. It's boring but I don't know why we aren't able to buy someone like Semenyo when he's £20m from Bristol, this is what the ****ing scouts are so, so **** at. Would love to see it, so as a Wilson replacement it's right out the top drawer. Add a decent number 9 and we're laughing.
I doubt it too, but could you imagine the forward line. Gordon, Semenyo and Elanga behind someone like Ramos. See ya Isak
Dear Newcastle Recruitment Team, Please take this little bit of advice when dealing with potential transfers. Advice Point 1: If a negotiation takes more than a week during a transfer window, maybe start to think that its unlikely to end well and continue to put all your eggs into this basket. Advice Point 2: When your Head Coach says we have to be quick off the mark and get the people in we need quickly, do not **** around for 5 weeks thinking we have plenty of time. Advice Point 3: Having basically ignored advice points 1 and 2, dont then act surprised that in the last 2 weeks of the window, when everyone knows you're as desperate as hell, see prices quoted start to sky rocket! Yours Faithfully NUFC fans
I actually think Mitrovich would do a good job in our current system with the amount of fast players in our squad to support him... Years Team Apps (Gls) 2011–2012 Teleoptik 25 (7) 2012–2013 Partizan 28 (13) 2013–2015 Anderlecht 69 (36) 2015–2018 Newcastle United 65 (14) 2018 → Fulham (loan) 17 (12) 2018–2023 Fulham 173 (97) 2023– Al-Hilal 51 (47) His time here as a young lad was actually his only real barren spell in front of goal if you look at his stats. He's only turned 30 and it's not like he'll lose pace as he never had any to begin with so a couple of seasons with Mitro upfront and 150mil in the bank to get Isak's true replacement might be a shrewd bit of business.
Yes. He's been a bit of a beast for Fiorentina though. And Eddie will appreciate that, as well as the earlier Premier League experience
