During Lundstrum's first game he looked like he was best as a squad player but he really shows his worth now Oxford werent bad. Especially their shooting.
They’ve clocked something because they’ve changed the halves they warm up in as well. Think they want to stop the away ends getting any kind of atmosphere going
It doesn't matter in the slightest tbf. They never even did league tables after 2 games until relatively recently.
Lundstrum was simply outstanding. That first half display and his passing was the best I’ve seen for ages.
I hope Ndala and Crooks aren’t too hurt. Ndala especially is such a threat. Even if he doesn’t score or assist, his ability to take players on and stretch the opposition is such an asset. We ripped them a new arsehole today. Every time we went forward, we looked like creating a chance.
Exactly. So there’s absolutely no incentive not go down like a sack of spuds, as Drameh did. The rule actually punishes honesty.
About time to...This move has been suggested on here on a number of occasions. Finally the penny has dropped with the club...Perhaps Holden could see it....Detach the away fans from their team, and don't let them attack the end their fans are in, in the second half. Its not rocket science.
Wowzer, what a great day to be a City supporter, first home game of season, a cracking, exciting game, loads of drama (not just Cody, although he played a blinder), intent, team togetherness, fab atmosphere, 3 points, last minute winner, had it all. Buzzing like my old proverbial! We had an electrifying start, had enough opportunities in that first half to win several matches, but frustrating to be undone by set pieces, the long throws. I saw more intensity in that match than seen for City in a long time, intensity we’ve all been yearning for, well done to coaching team. I thought Giles had another great game, what a change in him, just shows what can be achieved when a Manager has belief in you, Cody Dramah also, at this rate Coyle will struggle to get back in! So pleased for McBurnie to not only score, but the winner, he’d been desperate to get on the score sheet. Him and Crooks ran their boots off. Good to see Crooks’ reaction to the winner, off the bench, running to join in the celebrations, when he’d been out on his legs. What can be said about Cpt Hughes, outstanding, his value just gone up a notch. Lundstrum, definitely a player! I’d have felt hard done by after that effort with just a point, so made up with 3 points, makes a nice change for a last min winner for us. Onwards & upwards, exciting times. UTT.
Forest had an option to sign him for 4m right? carries on like he's started 4m won't even touch the sides come the end of the season
No way Coyle gets back in this team just yet, but you know what, bet he's delighted with our form and happy to play second fiddle whilst things are going well, proper team player and perfect back up
when we got philogene, he'd had two loans prior in the champ this is ndalas first real competitive mens football (dutch 2nd div is not counted imho) and while hes still so raw, physically he's well up for it, his decision making will keep improving i wish he was ours though argh
Match highlights on sky 403 at 8pm. ****d over by Sky again.... says City v Oxford and its Derby and Coventry...
I signed up again the other day to Tiger+, think it's gonna be one of my better decisions seeing as I can't watch 'em live. Come Tuesday the whole game should be posted on there and i'll be able to watch at my leisure.
If at the end of the season several teams (more than 2 teams) have all those factors identical, to determine which teams will fill the available final potential top 6 promotion spots , or 3 potential relegation spots, mini league(s) would be required (home and away against all the teams in a round robin) after a random out-of-the-hat draw. Ad nauseum. The chances of either or both being required would be very high over a 46 game season.
