Looks like we've definitely swapped ends from previous seasons, now attacking the north stand in the second half. Much better IMO.
A pretty predictable strong line up, looks like Kamara is likely to be gone, not starting. Back in Vietnam after a 10 hour flight from NZ to Singapore, a 23 hour waiting time in Singapore airport, then 2 hours flight to Saigon, and a 3 hour car ride back home. Just woke up in a blind panic, went for a nap at 1pm, woke up, and it was dark, luckily it was 7.30pm.so didn't miss the game. Phew.
Always get a bit nervous when we are being tipped so heavily to win games. I prefer to fly under the radar a bit more. Fingers crossed we can get a win though as I feel this is a side that could thrive on confidence (and vice versa). Trying to recreate the match experience for myself today. Walked the equivalent of the length of Anlaby Road earlier and then went in the pub and rushed down 5 pints. Now I'm standing in the hall way where I can hear the stadium noises on the telly but I can't actually see the pitch while I knock back another beer from a plastic glass while eating chicken and chips from a paper carton. As it's the first home game I've ask the wife and daughters to sit in my seat as it kicks off so we can all act confused as we try to work out whose in the wrong seats. Can't wait.
Not a fan of us warming up in front of north! Sat watching Oxford warm up instead....their finishing in warm up drill is about a million percent better than ours was the last 2 seasons!
Much as it doesn't suit my seating arrangement, it does seem like an obvious thing to change. All of the small adjustments (and bigger ones) may result in something good, who knows... I'm excited to find out though.
