Agreed. Need to get rid of that gimp on the decks and restore some order with an uplifting mix of 70s, 80s and 90s tracks that will delicately bring the atmosphere to the boil.

I recall we were playing Cheltenham at BP, and their mascot lost the foot off his costume and after trying for a while to slide it back on he gave up and pulled the top half of his costume off so he could use his hands. It was a bald guy inside, Roary ran up and used his head like a ball deodorant to rub his pits.

So was I, and I entirely missed the Roary stuff. It's like being at Wembley and missing the Windass volley.

I don’t mind the stand introductions and Eye of the Tiger is perfect but I just wish it was played louder and earlier so the crowd could sing it. My mates a Forest fan and he reckons Mull of Kintyre sounds ace when sung. I just said it’s **** and he’s a ****er but it gets their crowd going. Falling in Love? I can take it or leave it tbh.

100% this and I’d like to see the return of the row of pale blue invalid cars around the touchline.

I was thinking about all the little 'bubble' cars at Boothferry Park the other day when I was up in Tescos. There was a bloke on one of these mobility scooters and it was probably bigger than the old 'invalid' cars...Huge it was, and of course he couldn't give a **** about the foot soldiers,ouch,toes:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Some of those “scooters” are like full-size Harley Davison trikes complete with panniers, ape hanger bars and mirrors. To be fair I sympathise with having to use one but the owners are usually ****s.

The introduction of the stands is a bit cheesy but its only trying to create an atmosphere.

Maybe better or even cheesier depending on how you look at it if each stand instead of doing a small cheer and clap got going with the "We're the East, we're the East East stand, we're the East stand Hull City"

One of the residents asked me when i'm gonna get one, I said the day I give up on life.

I sometimes feel the “We’re East Stand” etc should be organised a bit better to get all 4 stands to take part in order and continue it for a bit. The South tries and the West just doesn’t get it at all.

I've noticed this before that the South tries after the East but the North often go for second bout at the same time

In the north we haven't got a clue what anyone in the south is trying to sing. We respond straight after the East because it's the way it's always been done. At times the northern end of the west stand has successfully got a loud enough chorus of it going to be heard and had a cheer of acknowledgment from the north, but it still doesn't break the North-East-North-East pattern.

Reminded me of something in the Slow Horses book I'm currently reading (all of them recommended, and the TV series). Anyway, Jackson Lamb says something about there being a mystery, which means they have to answer the 4 F's - what the ****, where the ****, why the ****, when the ****?
