Gray is anonymous, Bergvall started ok but has got a bit lost and only Sarr looks the part. As you say, a young group.
Well, that was a half of two halves A bit lucky to be still ahead and some changes needed at the break. Romero's head isn't in it, which is poor for a captain. We need Bentancur and Palinha in there to provide some stability. Richy took his s goal really well but has been quiet ever since. Johnson being....well, Johnson.
Hmmm, great start, fantastic cross and a lovely finish by Richy but it’s gone a bit stale from then on for Spurs. We’re moving the ball too slow at times, giving stupid fouls away and lack that creativity in Midfield. Hopefully Eze and Savinho deals happen soon. Loving Kudus, so good at receiving the ball, shielding it and getting away from his man. Great work rate. Hopefully Frank gets into the boys at HT . Would also like to see Odebert come on for Johnson who apart from one good cross has offered us nothing again.
Agreed but I'm thinking Bergvall the other way round, started meh and improved as it went on! Gray looks a bit bemused though and there is definitely a very large Maddison hole in the middle. Not much creativity at times. Thought Richarlison has been excellent today so far apart from the odd misplaced pass. Vicario been a bit... well Vicario like if you know what I mean!
Gray just isn’t good enough yet I’m afraid. Clearly talented but he’s nowhere near the level of a Prem DM right now. Needs a loan. Palhinha and/ or Bentancur needed in the second half. Whilst Solanke’s a better overall footballer, Richarlison is definitely a better goal threat and in Frank’s system I think that’s going to be more pivotal. If the Brazilian stays, I think he could be first choice ST. I’d much rather a new ST but if it’s Richarlison or Solanke for this particular manager, pigeon boy edges it for me. Kudus is that guy too. Liking what I’ve seen of him these last couple games.
Agree re gray look g a bit lost/bullied but bergvall has made a couple of great driving runs. Romero has been very iffy tbh. Kudos hold up play is excellent, Johnson is keeping the pitch very wide Richarlison has been a real pain to them. Looked solid at the back from set pieces but got to be careful of giving silly free kicks away...done it a few times that half. They want to hit on the break so we have to watch that too. Good to see the refs pressure keepers holding the ball. Decent atmosphere
Kudus looks like one of those players almost worth the entrance money alone. But in other news, Burnley are starting to rip holes in our defence.
