I thought he looked quite promising to be fair. Might actually be one of those finds that the other clubs missed. But with Ramsey and hopefully Wissa (and/or another forward) joining soon, then Seung-Soo might find himself in the reserves.

I didn't say he was a dud, more impressed that he's on the bench already. Probably wouldn't be if Isak/Willock were fit but great to see.

Could be a bit of a slow start to the season but that first XI when it’s got a striker in it is formidable and the bench finally has options and only one keeper.

 

Not sure blending into the pitch is a great idea for a kit.

 

Sorry I’m posting more than Roy but doesn’t Isakunt feel a bit stupid right now? Why didn’t he just train, play and if a move came in enjoy it?

 

Agree first XI picks it’s self (minus a cf) and a bench when everyone’s fit of;

Starters: Pope, Tino, Thiaw, Botman, Hall, Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Elanga, CF, Gordon
Bench: Ramsdale, Trippier, Schar, Burn, Willock, Miley Murphy, Barnes, Osula/Isak/CF

is starting to look like a squad that can compete on multiple fronts. Sign Wissa and Ramos for example and we are laughing.

I'd probably start Ramsdale over Pope. And we should have Ramsey. But yeah.
